The LISA Astrophysics MBHcatalogues Project: A comparison of predictions of simulated massive black hole binaries
David Izquierdo-Villalba, Melanie Habouzit, Matteo Bonetti +67
In the hierarchical paradigm of galaxy formation, central massive black holes (MBHs) are expected to coalesce after the merger of their host galaxies. One of the main goals of the…
Handy Relation Between Binary Black Hole Merger Times and Host Galaxy Properties
Kelly Holley-Bockelmann, Fazeel Khan, Isaiah Williams +6
Over the past 15 years, the evidence has clearly demonstrated that massive black hole (MBH) binary merger timescales depend strongly on the structural and kinematic properties of t…
El Gordo needs El Anzuelo: Probing the structure of cluster members with multi-band extended arcs in JWST data
A. Galan, G. B. Caminha, J. Knollmüller +2
Gravitational lensing by galaxy clusters involves hundreds of galaxies over a large redshift range and increases the likelihood of rare phenomena (supernovae, dark substructures, e…
Residual Entropy as a Diagnostic and Stopping Metric for CLEAN
D. C. Homan, J. S. Roth, A. B. Pushkarev
We propose the use of entropy, measured from the spatial and flux distribution of pixels in the residual image, as a potential diagnostic and stopping metric for the CLEAN algorith…
