Sky Background Building of Multi-objective Fiber spectra Based on Mutual Information Network
Hui Zhang, Jianghui Cai, Haifeng Yang +6
Sky background subtraction is a critical step in Multi-objective Fiber spectra process. However, current subtraction relies mainly on sky fiber spectra to build Super Sky. These av…
An in-depth exploration of LAMOST Unknown spectra based on density clustering
Haifeng Yang, Xiaona Yin, Jianghui Cai +6
LAMOST (Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope) has completed the observation of nearly 20 million celestial objects, including a class of spectra labeled `Unkno…
Data mining techniques on astronomical spectra data. II : Classification Analysis
Haifeng Yang, Lichan Zhou, Jianghui Cai +5
Classification is valuable and necessary in spectral analysis, especially for data-driven mining. Along with the rapid development of spectral surveys, a variety of classification…
Data mining techniques on astronomical spectra data. I : Clustering Analysis
Haifeng Yang, Chenhui Shi, Jianghui Cai +5
Clustering is an effective tool for astronomical spectral analysis, to mine clustering patterns among data. With the implementation of large sky surveys, many clustering methods ha…
