Discovery of Two Consecutive Profile Change Events in the Millisecond Pulsar PSR J0437-4715
Rami F. Mandow, Andrew Zic, J. R. Dawson +19
The closest and brightest millisecond pulsar (MSP), PSR J0437-4715, is a high-priority pulsar for precision timing experiments, including the Parkes Pulsar Timing Array (PPTA) proj…
Time-Correlated Profile Variability in the MeerKAT Pulsar Timing Array
Bhavnesh Bhat, Michael J. Keith, E. Carli +2
Long-term pulse-profile variability has emerged as a potentially important source of uncertainty for high-precision pulsar timing, as changes in the integrated pulse shape can bias…
A pulsar escaping an ancient open cluster via tidal stripping
Lei Zhang, Xiaoting Fu, Di Li +21
Open clusters are the primary birthplaces of stars in the Milky Way disk, yet their neutron star progeny are rarely found within them, presumably due to supernova-induced kicks tha…
A search for Fast Radio Bursts from globular clusters in M49 with FAST
Simon C. -C. Ho, Chris Flynn, Matthew Bailes +7
The origins of fast radio bursts (FRBs) remain uncertain, although magnetars are a leading progenitor candidate. Because magnetars are thought to form primarily through core-collap…
