Gravitational Signatures of Axion Dark Matter via Parity-Violating Interactions
Marco Figliolia, Francesco Grippa, Gaetano Lambiase +1
We investigate axion-like particles coupled to gravity through a parity-violating Chern-Simons (CS) interaction. In this framework, axion dark matter (DM) can decay into pairs of c…
Searching for New Physics in Ultradense Environment: a Review on Dark Matter Admixed Neutron Stars
Francesco Grippa, Gaetano Lambiase, Tanmay Kumar Poddar
Neutron Stars (NSs), among the densest objects in the Universe, are exceptional laboratories for investigating Dark Matter (DM) properties. Recent theoretical and observational dev…
Scalar and vector dark matter admixed neutron stars with linear and quadratic couplings
Francesco Grippa, Gaetano Lambiase, Tanmay Kumar Poddar
We investigate the effects of dark scalar- and vector-mediated interactions on dark matter admixed neutron stars, employing the two-fluid formalism. We adopt three different nuclea…
General relativistic hydrodynamic simulations of binary strange star mergers
Francesco Grippa, Aviral Prakash, Domenico Logoteta +2
We perform fully general-relativistic simulations of binary strange star mergers considering two different approaches for thermal effects. The first uses a cold equation of state (…
