International Optical Clock Comparison Using the European Optical Fiber Network
Marco Pizzocaro, Clara Zyskind, Anne Amy-Klein +41
Optical clocks have achieved remarkable estimated fractional frequency uncertainties reaching the level and below, enabling applications in fundamental physics, general…
Atomic thermometry in optical lattice clocks: model discrepancies and their impact on lattice light shifts
Irene Goti, Tommaso Petrucciani, Stefano Condio +3
Accurate measurement of atomic temperature is fundamental for a wide range of applications, from quantum sensing to precision metrology. In optical lattice clocks, precise characte…
Coordinated international comparisons between optical clocks connected via fiber and satellite links
Thomas Lindvall, Marco Pizzocaro, Rachel M. Godun +62
Optical clocks provide ultra-precise frequency references that are vital for international metrology as well as for tests of fundamental physics. To investigate the level of agreem…
Absolute frequency measurement of a Yb optical clock at the limit of the Cs fountain
Irene Goti, Stefano Condio, Cecilia Clivati +6
We present the new absolute frequency measurement of ytterbium (171Yb) obtained at INRiM with the optical lattice clock IT-Yb1 against the cryogenic caesium (133Cs) fountain IT-CsF…
