Euclid: Discovery of bright Lyman-break galaxies in UltraVISTA and Euclid COSMOS
R. G. Varadaraj, R. A. A. Bowler, M. J. Jarvis +163
We present a search for Lyman-break galaxies using the near-infrared UltraVISTA survey in the COSMOS field, reaching depths in of 26.2. W…
Evidence for inverse Compton scattering in high-redshift Lyman-break galaxies
I. H. Whittam, M. J. Jarvis, Eric J. Murphy +13
Radio continuum emission provides a unique opportunity to study star-formation unbiased by dust obscuration. However, if radio observations are to be used to accurately trace star-…
A 15 Mpc rotating galaxy filament at redshift z = 0.032
Madalina N. Tudorache, S. L. Jung, M. J. Jarvis +6
Understanding the cold atomic hydrogen gas (HI) within cosmic filaments has the potential to pin down the relationship between the low density gas in the cosmic web and how the gal…
Angular correlation functions of bright Lyman-break galaxies at
Isabelle Ye, Philip Bull, Rebecca A. A. Bowler +3
We investigate the clustering of Lyman-break galaxies at redshifts of 3 5 within the COSMOS field by measuring the angular two-point correlation function. Our…
