Tailored Speckle Illumination Microscopy with Enhanced Sectioning and Image Quality
SeungYun Han, KyeoReh Lee, Young Seo Kim +6
Optical speckle patterns have been widely used for illumination in computational imaging, optical sectioning microscopy, and super-resolution imaging. However, commonly used speckl…
Generalized Time-Reversal for Pulse Control in Diffusive Media
Rohin E. McIntosh, Arthur Goetschy, Alexey Yamilov +3
Time-reversal symmetry allows waves to retrace their paths through complex media and refocus at their origin. However, incomplete capture and reversal of scattered waves often limi…
Spectral Width of Maximum Deposition Eigenchannels in Diffusive Media
Rohin E. McIntosh, Arthur Goetschy, Nicholas Bender +4
The maximum deposition eigenchannel provides the largest possible power delivery to a target region inside a diffusive medium by optimizing the incident wavefront of a monochromati…
Delivering Broadband Light Deep Inside Diffusive Media
Rohin McIntosh, Arthur Goetschy, Nicholas Bender +4
Wavefront shaping enables targeted delivery of coherent light into random-scattering media, such as biological tissue, by constructive interference of scattered waves. However, bro…
