5-GHz chip-based quantum key distribution with 1Mbps secure key rate over 150 km
Guo-Wei Zhang, Sheng-Teng Zheng, You Xiao +16
Quantum key distribution (QKD) enables secure communication by harnessing the fundamental principles of quantum physics, which inherently guarantee information-theoretic security a…
Photorefractive-based on-chip optical power limiter against light-injection attacks in quantum key distribution
Min Chen, Hong-Yan Song, Jia-Lin Chen +10
Light-injection attacks pose critical security threats to quantum key distribution (QKD) systems. Conventional countermeasures, such as isolators, filters, and optical power monito…
Security analysis of orthogonal state attack on a high-speed quantum key distribution system
Jialei Su, Qingquan Peng, Jia-lin Chen +6
High-speed quantum key distribution (QKD) systems have achieved repetition frequencies above gigahertz through advanced technologies and devices, laying an important foundation for…
Experimental demonstration of fully passive quantum key distribution
Feng-Yu Lu, Ze-Hao Wang, Víctor Zapatero +10
The passive approach to quantum key distribution (QKD) consists of removing all active modulation from the users' devices, a highly desirable countermeasure to get rid of modulator…
