Bichromatic Quantum Teleportation of Weak Coherent Polarization States on a Metropolitan Fiber
Zofia A. Borowska, Shane Andrewski, Giorgio De Pascalis +12
As quantum technologies mature, telecommunication operators have a clear opportunity to unlock and scale new services by providing the connectivity layer that links quantum compute…
Quantum Limits of LEO Satellite Beacon Reading
Pere Munar-Vallespir, Marc Geitz, Ángeles Vázquez-Castro +1
We study the quantum limits of the ELROI beacon concept introduced by Holmes, Weaver, and Palmer. In this concept, a satellite continuously emits a weak optical signal to broadcast…
Quantum Physical Unclonable Function based on Chaotic Hamiltonians
Soham Ghosh, Holger Boche, Marc Geitz
Quantum Physical Unclonable Functions (QPUFs) are hardware-based cryptographic primitives with strong theoretical security. This security stems from their modeling as Haar-random u…
High-Fidelity Quantum Entanglement Distribution in Metropolitan Fiber Networks with Co-propagating Classical Traffic
Matheus Sena, Mael Flament, Shane Andrewski +13
The Quantum Internet, a network of quantum-enabled infrastructure, represents the next frontier in telecommunications, promising capabilities that cannot be attained by classical c…
