SOAPv4: A new step toward modeling stellar signatures in exoplanet research
E. Cristo, J. P. Faria, N. C. Santos +6
We present and describe a new version of the spot oscillation and planet code, SOAPv4. Our aim is to demonstrate its capabilities in modeling stellar activity in the context of RV…
ATREIDES I. Embarking on a trek across the exo-Neptunian landscape with the TOI-421 system
V. Bourrier, M. Steiner, A. Castro-González +75
The distribution of close-in exoplanets is shaped by the interplay between atmospheric and dynamical processes. The Neptunian Desert, Ridge, and Savanna illustrate the sensitivity…
Studying the variability of the He triplet to understand the detection limits of evaporating exoplanet atmospheres
Samson J. Mercier, Xavier Dumusque, Vincent Bourrier +20
With more than a dozen significant detections, the helium triplet has emerged as a key tracer of evaporating exoplanet atmospheres. This near-infrared feature can be observed from…
The ESPRESSO transmission spectrum of HD189733b : Extracting the planetary sodium and lithium signatures amid stellar contamination
D. Mounzer, W. Dethier, C. Lovis +20
While transmission spectroscopy has allowed us to detect many atomic and molecular species in exoplanet atmospheres, the improvement in resolution and signal-to-noise ratio enabled…
