Caught in the web: galaxy mergers along cosmic filaments
Carolina Dulcien, Yara L. Jaffe, Jacob P. Crossett +31
Galaxy clusters grow through the accretion of galaxies from groups, filaments, and other clusters. During this process, galaxies may undergo pre-processing in lower-density environ…
Targeting cluster galaxies for the 4MOST CHANCES Low-z sub-survey with photometric redshifts
Hugo Méndez-Hernández, Ciria Lima-Dias, Antonela Monachesi +54
The evolution of galaxies is shaped by both internal processes and their external environments. Galaxy clusters and their surroundings provide ideal laboratories to study these eff…
CHANCES, the Chilean Cluster Galaxy Evolution Survey: Selection and initial characterisation of clusters and superclusters
Cristóbal Sifón, Alexis Finoguenov, Christopher P. Haines +43
CHANCES, the CHileAN Cluster galaxy Evolution Survey, will study the evolution of galaxies in and around 100 massive galaxy clusters from the local Universe out to , and…
A tentative 1000 km s offset between the [CII] 158 m and Ly line emission in a star-forming galaxy at
R. Baier-Soto, R. Herrera-Camus, N. M. Förster Schreiber +4
GN-108036 is a star-forming galaxy at , and one of the most distant known sources in the Northern hemisphere. Based on observations from the NOrthern Extended Millimeter Ar…
