BEBOP VIII. SOPHIE radial velocities reveal an eccentric, circumbinary brown dwarf
Amaury H. M. J. Triaud, Thomas A. Baycroft, Neda Heidari +18
Circumbinary configurations offer a test of planet formation in an altered environment, where the inner binary has perturbed a protoplanetary disc. Comparisons of the physical and…
Search for exocomets transits in Kepler light curves: Ten new transits identified
Pierre Dumond, Alain Lecavelier des Etangs, Flavien Kiefer +2
The Kepler mission, despite its conclusion over a decade ago, continues to offer a rich dataset for uncovering new astrophysical objects and phenomena. In this study, we conducted…
Chromaticity of stellar activity in radial velocities : Anti-correlated families of lines on the M dwarf EV Lac with SPIRou and SOPHIE
Pierre Larue, Xavier Delfosse, Andres Carmona +33
Context. In the search for exoplanets using radial velocities (RV), stellar activity has become one of the main limiting factors for detectability. Fortunately, activity-induced RV…
BEBOP VII. SOPHIE discovery of BEBOP-3b, a circumbinary giant planet on an eccentric orbit
Thomas A. Baycroft, Alexandre Santerne, Amaury H. M. J. Triaud +21
Planetary systems orbiting close binaries are valuable testing grounds for planet formation and migration models. More detections with good mass measurements are needed. We present…
