Exact Posterior Prediction from Product Haar Measurements and a Randomized-Mesh Maximum-Likelihood Bridge
Naqueeb Ahmad Warsi, Ayanava Dasgupta, Masahito Hayashi
We study prediction of one unmeasured copy of an unknown finite-dimensional pure quantum state after independently measuring the observed copies with the one-copy Haar POVM. For th…
Haar-Bayesian Pure-State Prediction under Relative-Entropy Loss: Arbitrary-Effect Reduction and Global Optimality
Masahito Hayashi, Ayanava Dasgupta, Naqueeb Ahmad Warsi
We study Haar-Bayesian prediction of one unmeasured copy of an unknown finite-dimensional pure quantum state after an arbitrary collective measurement on observed copies. Perfo…
Uniqueness, Cramér-Rao Efficiency and Concentration Bounds for Quantum U-Statistics
Ayanava Dasgupta, Naqueeb Ahmad Warsi, Premanshu Chatterjee
We study unbiased estimation of scalar-valued polynomial functionals of quantum states from independent copies. We establish an equivalence between the first-order marginal of a pe…
Privacy Implies Stability: Information-Theoretic Generalization Bounds for Quantum Learning
Ayanava Dasgupta, Naqueeb Ahmad Warsi, Masahito Hayashi
We develop an information-theoretic framework connecting stability, privacy, and generalization for quantum learning algorithms. Learning procedures are modeled as quantum instrume…
