A large overdensity of LRD-like galaxies discovered by JWST in the SPT2349-56 protocluster at z=4.30
Scott C. Chapman, Kedar A. Phadke, Nikolaus Sulzenauer +20
We present 11 newly identified ultra-red galaxies selected with JWST/NIRCam in the core of the z=4.3 protocluster SPT2349-56. Although these sources are not yet spectroscopically c…
Strong environmental AGN enhancement among DSFGs in z > 2 protoclusters
Monica Natalia Isla Llave, Fabio Vito, Alberto Traina +17
Galaxy protoclusters (PCs) at z > 2 are dense regions in which cold gas availability and elevated galaxy interaction rates trigger intense, often dust-obscured, star formation. The…
An Overabundance of Radio-AGN in the SPT2349-56 Protocluster: Preheating the Intra-Cluster Medium
Scott C. Chapman, Roger P. Deane, Dazhi Zhou +22
Following the detection of a radio-loud Active Galactic Nucleus (AGN) in the z=4.3 protocluster SPT2349-56, we have obtained additional observations with MeerKAT in S-band (2.4 GHz…
The properties of X-ray selected AGN in protoclusters pinpointed by Enormous Lya Nebulae
A. Traina, F. Vito, F. Arrigoni-Battaia +11
Protoclusters of galaxies are overdense regions of the Universe characterized by large gas reservoirs. Such environments make them perfect laboratories to investigate galaxy-AGN co…
