A comprehensive catalogue of high-mass X-ray binaries in the Large Magellanic Cloud detected during the first eROSITA all-sky survey
D. Kaltenbrunner, C. Maitra, F. Haberl +9
The Magellanic Clouds, the closest star-forming galaxies to the Milky Way, offer an excellent environment to study high-mass X-ray binaries. While the Small Magellanic Cloud has be…
Confirmation of SRGt 062340.2-265751 as a nova-like cataclysmic variable with a possible magnetic nature
V. A. Cúneo, A. D. Schwope, J. Kurpas +5
SRGt 062340.2-265751, a cataclysmic variable identified by SRG/eROSITA thanks to its significant X-ray variability, remains poorly characterised despite the multi-wavelength follow…
Disentangling the Galactic centre X-ray reflection signal using XMM-Newton data
K. Anastasopoulou, I. Khabibullin, E. Churazov +5
We investigate the X-ray emission from the Galactic Centre (GC) region, focusing on the 6.4 keV fluorescent line of neutral or weakly ionised iron, which is commonly attributed to…
The VMC survey -- LIII. Data release #7. Complete survey data and data from additional programmes
M. -R. L. Cioni, N. J. G. Cross, V. Ripepi +29
The near-infrared YJKs Visual and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy (VISTA) survey of the Magellanic Clouds (VMC) is complete and there are also data from additional programm…
