Characterization of cutting-edge CMOS Active Pixel sensors within the CYGNO Experiment
B. D. Almeida, F. D. Amaro, R. Antonietti +43
Time Projection Chambers equipped with Gas Electron Multipliers and optical readout by scientific CMOS cameras are a promising technology for low-energy particle detection, as demo…
Sensor operating point calibration and monitoring of the ALICE Inner Tracking System during LHC Run 3
D. Agguiaro, G. Aglieri Rinella, L. Aglietta +285
The new Inner Tracking System (ITS2) of the ALICE experiment began operation in 2021 with the start of LHC Run 3. Compared to its predecessor, ITS2 offers substantial improvements…
Characterization of field cage and cathode for low radioactivity operation with the CYGNO experiment
F. D. Amaro, R. Antonietti, E. Baracchini +48
Dark matter, which is considered to account for approximately the 27% of the Universe's energy-mass content, remains an open issue in modern particle physics along with its composi…
Modeling the light response of an optically readout GEM based TPC for the CYGNO experiment
Fernando Dominques Amaro, Rita Antonietti, Elisabetta Baracchini +56
The use of gaseous Time Projection Chambers enables the detection and the detailed study of rare events due to particles interactions with the atoms of the gas with energy releases…
