First Statistical Study of Over 100 Magnified Stellar Events at Redshift with JWST
J. M. Palencia, Fengwu Sun, J. M. Diego +25
Highly magnified stars at cosmological distances () become detectable thanks to microlensing by intracluster stars near the critical curves of galaxy clusters. Multi…
Little red dot variability over a century reveals black hole envelope via a giant Einstein cross
Zijian Zhang, Mingyu Li, Masamune Oguri +79
"Little red dots" (LRDs) represent a new population of astronomical objects uncovered by JWST whose nature remains debated. Although many LRDs are suspected as active galactic nucl…
Microlensing at Cosmological Distances: Event Rate Predictions in the Warhol Arc of MACS 0416
J. M. Palencia, J. M. Diego, L. Dai +13
Highly magnified stars ( 100) are now outinely identified as transient events at cosmological distances thanks to microlensing by intra-cluster stars near the critical curve…
SN H0pe: The First Measurement of from a Multiply-Imaged Type Ia Supernova, Discovered by JWST
Massimo Pascale, Brenda L. Frye, Justin D. R. Pierel +21
The first James Webb Space Telescope ({\it JWST}) Near InfraRed Camera (NIRCam) imaging in the field of the galaxy cluster PLCK G165.7+67.0 () uncovered a Type Ia supernova…
