Thermal emission spectra of the ultra-hot Jupiter WASP-33 b
Qianyi Zou, Meng Zhai, Wei Wang +12
Observations of exoplanetary atmospheres provide critical insights into their chemical composition, formation and evolution history. Ultra-hot Jupiters serve as excellent targets f…
Revisiting the atmosphere of HAT-P-70b with CARMENES high-resolution transmission spectroscopy
Tianjun Gan, Jaume Orell-Miquel, Fei Yan +19
Owing to hot and inflated envelopes that facilitate atmospheric studies, ultra-hot Jupiters (UHJs) have attracted much attention. Significant progress has been achieved, from enlar…
Gliese 12 b: A temperate Earth-sized planet at 12 pc ideal for atmospheric transmission spectroscopy
M. Kuzuhara, A. Fukui, J. H. Livingston +103
Recent discoveries of Earth-sized planets transiting nearby M dwarfs have made it possible to characterize the atmospheres of terrestrial planets via follow-up spectroscopic observ…
CARMENES input catalog of M dwarfs: VII. New rotation periods for the survey stars and their correlations with stellar activity
Yutong Shan, Daniel Revilla, Sebastian L. Skrzypinski +40
Abridged: We measured photometric and spectroscopic for a large sample of nearby bright M dwarfs with spectral types from M0 to M9, as part of our continual effort to…
