ACES: The Magnetic Field in Large Filaments in the Galactic Center
Dylan M. Paré, Zi-Xuan Feng, Yue Hu +33
The Galactic Center (GC) is an extreme region of the Milky Way that is host to a complex set of thermal and non-thermal structures. In particular, the GC contains high-density gas…
Parallel Alignments between Magnetic Fields and Dense Structures in the Central Molecular Zone
Xing Pan, Qizhou Zhang, Keping Qiu +8
The recent Far-Infrared Polarimetric Large-Area Central Molecular Zone Exploration (FIREPLACE) survey with SOFIA has mapped plane-of-the-sky magnetic field orientations within the…
Surveys of clumps, cores, and condensations in Cygnus-X: Searching for Keplerian disks on the scale of 500 au
Xing Pan, Keping Qiu, Qizhou Zhang
Over the past decades, observational evidence of circumstellar disks around massive protostars has been steadily accumulating. However, there have also been cases of non-detections…
Dense Cores in IRDC G14.225-0.506 revealed by ALMA Observations
Yanhanle Zhao, Qizhou Zhang, Junhao Liu +2
Dense cores in massive, parsec-scale molecular clumps are sites that harbor protocluster formation. We present results from observations towards a hub-filament structure of a massi…
