What matters for Representation Alignment: Global Information or Spatial Structure?
Jaskirat Singh, Xingjian Leng, Zongze Wu +4
Representation alignment (REPA) guides generative training by distilling representations from a strong, pretrained vision encoder to intermediate diffusion features. We investigate…
SimFlow: Simplified and End-to-End Training of Latent Normalizing Flows
Qinyu Zhao, Guangting Zheng, Tao Yang +4
Normalizing Flows (NFs) learn invertible mappings between the data and a Gaussian distribution. Prior works usually suffer from two limitations. First, they add random noise to tra…
REPA-E: Unlocking VAE for End-to-End Tuning with Latent Diffusion Transformers
Xingjian Leng, Jaskirat Singh, Yunzhong Hou +3
In this paper we tackle a fundamental question: "Can we train latent diffusion models together with the variational auto-encoder (VAE) tokenizer in an end-to-end manner?" Tradition…
DWIM: Towards Tool-aware Visual Reasoning via Discrepancy-aware Workflow Generation & Instruct-Masking Tuning
Fucai Ke, Vijay Kumar B G, Xingjian Leng +6
Visual reasoning (VR), which is crucial in many fields for enabling human-like visual understanding, remains highly challenging. Recently, compositional visual reasoning approaches…
