The Fast & Fourier: Using neural operators to speed up radiative modeling of protoplanetary disks
Lukas Welzel, Melissa K. McClure
Edge-on protoplanetary disks provide a spatially resolved view of the vertical distribution of icy planetary building blocks, but inferring their relative abundances requires radia…
JWST Edge-on Disk Ice (JEDIce): Program overview and ice survey results
Jennifer B. Bergner, Nicole Arulanantham, Emmanuel Dartois +21
The icy material within protoplanetary disks plays a central role in planet formation, yet remains poorly characterized by observations. We present 1.6-28m spectra of five disks…
The Flying Saucer edge-on disc's Near Infrared silhouette revealed by the JWST JEDIce program
Emmanuel Dartois, Jennifer A. Noble, Jennifer B. Bergner +17
Edge-on discs offer a unique opportunity to probe radial and vertical dust and gas distributions in the protoplanetary phase. This study aims to investigate the distribution of mic…
WIde Separation Planets In Time (WISPIT): A Gap-clearing Planet in a Multi-ringed Disk around the Young Solar-type Star WISPIT 2
Richelle F. van Capelleveen, Christian Ginski, Matthew A. Kenworthy +17
In the past decades several thousand exoplanet systems have been discovered around evolved, main-sequence stars, revealing a wide diversity in their architectures. To understand ho…
