The Simons Observatory: forecasted constraints on primordial gravitational waves with the expanded array of Small Aperture Telescopes
The Simons Observatory Collaboration, I. Abril-Cabezas, S. Adachi +479
We present updated forecasts for the scientific performance of the degree-scale (0.5 deg FWHM at 93 GHz), deep-field survey to be conducted by the Simons Observatory (SO). By 2027,…
Site Evaluation and Cost Estimation for Cosmic Explorer
Laurence Datrier, Geoffrey Lovelace, Joshua R. Smith +2
Cosmic Explorer (CE) is a proposed next generation gravitational-wave observatory that would be sited in the United States. As of 2025, CE is in its design phase, with plans to beg…
A Sibling of AR Scorpii: SDSS J230641.47244055.8 and the Observational Blueprint of White Dwarf Pulsars
N. Castro Segura, I. Pelisoli, B. T. Gänsicke +21
Radio pulsating white dwarf (WD) systems, known as WD pulsars, are non-accreting binary systems where the rapidly spinning WD interacts with a low-mass companion producing pulsed n…
The Simons Observatory: Science Goals and Forecasts for the Enhanced Large Aperture Telescope
The Simons Observatory Collaboration, M. Abitbol, I. Abril-Cabezas +419
We describe updated scientific goals for the wide-field, millimeter-wave survey that will be produced by the Simons Observatory (SO). Significant upgrades to the 6-meter SO Large A…
