Prompt Searches for Very-High-Energy γ-Ray Counterparts to IceCube Astrophysical Neutrino Alerts
J. Abhir, A. Biland, K. Brand +817
The search for sources of high-energy astrophysical neutrinos can be significantly advanced through a multi-messenger approach, which seeks to detect the gamma rays that accompany…
Constraining the nature of the most extreme Galactic particle accelerator. H.E.S.S. observations of the microquasar V4641 Sgr
A. Acharyya, F. Aharonian, H. Ashkar +131
Microquasars have emerged as promising candidates to explain the cosmic-ray flux at petaelectronvolt energies. LHAASO observations revealed V4641~Sgr as the most extreme example so…
Multi-GeV Fermi-LAT Detection of PSR B1259-63
D. Malyshev, M. Chernyakova, A. Finn Gallagher +5
PSR B1259-63/LS 2883 is a classical gamma-ray binary detected from radio to TeV energies near periastron. Using over 17 years of Fermi-LAT observations, we report the first signifi…
Prospects for dark matter observations in dwarf spheroidal galaxies with the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory
K. Abe, S. Abe, J. Abhir +491
The dwarf spheroidal galaxies (dSphs) orbiting the Milky Way are widely regarded as systems supported by velocity dispersion against self-gravity, and as prime targets for the sear…
