A novel violation of the equivalence principle
Saurya Das, Mitja Fridman, Sourav Sur
It is generally assumed that any discrepancy between an object's inertial and gravitational masses, leading to a violation of the equivalence principle, arises from the nature of i…
Testing the Quantum Equivalence Principle with Gravitational Waves
Saurya Das, Mitja Fridman, Gaetano Lambiase
We study modifications of gravitational wave observables, such as the wave amplitude and frequency, which follow from the quantum equivalence principle, and are expressed in terms…
Test of Quantum Gravity in Optical Magnetometers
Mitja Fridman, James Maldaner, Gil Porat +1
In this work, quantum gravity effects, which can potentially be measured in magnetometers through the Larmor frequency of atoms in an external magnetic field, are estimated. It is…
A singularity free classical theory of gravity
Saurya Das, Mitja Fridman, Sourav Sur
We present a classical theory of gravity, which is singularity free at short distances and reduces to General Relativity at large distances. We discuss its implications.
Varying Newton's constant: a cure for gravitational maladies?
Saurya Das, Sourav Sur
We show that a slowly varying Newton's constant, consistent with existing bounds, can potentially explain a host of observations pertaining to gravitational effects or phenomena ac…
