The mass distribution of clumpy accretion onto the nearby young star TW Hya
Tao Ji, Javier Serna, Gregory J. Herczeg +12
The proliferation of high time-resolution and decades-long monitoring of classical T Tauri stars provides a vast opportunity to test the variability of the star-disk connections. H…
Tracking Protostellar Variability in Massive Protoclusters with ALMA: I. Insights from QUARKS and MaMMOtH
Yuhan Yang, Tie Liu, Sheng-Yuan Liu +22
Millimeter/submillimeter variability is often attributed to dynamical disk-mediated accretion, yet detection is limited to low-mass protostars in nearby clouds. Recent observations…
The Outbursting YSOs Catalogue (OYCAT)
C. Contreras Peña, J. -E. Lee, G. Herczeg +39
YSOs can display unpredictable and high-amplitude rises in brightness that can last from a few months to possibly over 100 years. These types of outbursts are explained by large ch…
"Oh FUors where art thou": A search for long-lasting YSO outbursts hiding in infrared surveys
Carlos Contreras Peña, Jeong-Eun Lee, Ho-Gyu Lee +11
Long-lasting episodes of high accretion can strongly impact stellar and planetary formation. However, the universality of these events during the formation of young stellar objects…
