An edge-based and subspace reduction encoding scheme to solve the traveling salesman problem in quantum computers
Anandu Kalleri Madhu, Chi-Kwong Li, Jami Rönkkö +2
This paper introduces a novel edge-based encoding technique for solving the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) on a quantum computer, reducing the required number of qubits. For impl…
Background Suppression in Quantum Sensing of Dark Matter via Collective Entangled-State Projection
Shion Chen, Hajime Fukuda, Yutaro Iiyama +5
We show that measuring dark matter signal by projecting quantum sensors in the collective excited state can highly suppress the non-collective noise background, hence improving the…
On-Premises Superconducting Quantum Computer for Education and Research
Jami Rönkkö, Olli Ahonen, Ville Bergholm +13
With a growing interest in quantum technology globally, there is an increasing need for accessing relevant physical systems for education and research. In this paper we introduce a…
Counter-diabatic vortex pump in spinor Bose-Einstein condensates
T. Ollikainen, S. Masuda, M. Möttönen +1
Topological phase imprinting is a well-established technique for deterministic vortex creation in spinor Bose-Einstein condensates of alkali metal atoms. It was recently shown that…
