Emergent Quantum Dynamics as a Bayesian Inference Problem: A Critical Analysis
Thales B. S. F. Rodrigues, Lucas L. Brugger, Vinicius G. Valle +2
Coarse-grained descriptions can be used to account for physical processes in which information is lost or not entirely accessible. In this paper, we start by proposing a connection…
Recasting Schrödinger's Cat Thought Experiment as a Remote Measurement Problem
Lucas L. Brugger, Cristhiano Duarte, Bruno F. Rizzuti
With 2025 being declared the Year of Quantum Science and Technology, our contribution seeks to provide a fresh perspective on Schrödinger's cat thought experiment. We reinterpret t…
Towards establishing a connection between two-level quantum systems and physical spaces
V. G. Valle, L. L. Brugger, B. F. Rizzuti +1
This work seeks to make explicit the operational connection between the preparation of two-level quantum systems with their corresponding description (as states) in a Hilbert space…
One Hundred Years Later: Stern-Gerlach Experiment and Dimension Witnesses
R. Grossi, Lucas L. Brugger, B. F. Rizzuti +1
Inspired by the one-hundredth anniversary of the seminal works of Stern and Gerlach, our contribution is a proposal of how to use their famous experiment in a more contemporary per…
