Validation of optical pathlength stability in a LISA test-bench demonstrator
Shivani Harer, Maxime Vincent, Hubert Halloin +40
The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) observatory is a future L3 mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) to detect gravitational waves, set to launch in 2035. The detect…
First observation and measurement of the bosonic transition in an optical lattice clock
Clara Zyskind, Thomas Lauprêtre, Haosen Shang +4
We report the first observation of the magnetic-field-induced (5d10 6s2)1S0-(5d10 6s6p)3P0 transition in a bosonic isotope of mercury, 198Hg, realized in an optical lattice clock.…
Coordinated international comparisons between optical clocks connected via fiber and satellite links
Thomas Lindvall, Marco Pizzocaro, Rachel M. Godun +62
Optical clocks provide ultra-precise frequency references that are vital for international metrology as well as for tests of fundamental physics. To investigate the level of agreem…
Guidelines for designs for ultrastable laser with fractional frequency instability
Joannès Barbarat, Erik Benkler, Marcin Bober +46
Lasers with long coherence time and narrow linewidth are an essential tool for quantum sensors and clocks. Ultrastable cavities and laser systems are now commercially available wit…
