CORINOS IV: Quantifying Baseline-Fitting Uncertainties in SO Ice Measurements with JWST/MIRI
Rachel E. Gross, Yao-Lun Yang, L. Ilsedore Cleeves +15
Sulfur dioxide (SO) ice has been tentatively detected in protostellar envelopes, but its reliability as a solid-state sulfur reservoir remains unclear. We present new measureme…
Determining the methanol deuteration in the disk around V883 Orionis with laboratory measured spectroscopy
Shaoshan Zeng, Jae-Hong Jeong, Takahiro Oyama +3
Deuterium fractionation, as studied through mono-deuterated methanol, is frequently used as a diagnostic tool to trace the physical conditions and chemical evolution of interstella…
Near- to mid-infrared spectroscopic study of ice analysis using the AKARI/IRC and Spitzer/IRS spectra
Jaeyeong Kim, Jeong-Eun Lee, Chul-Hwan Kim +2
We present the combined 2.530m spectra of four protostars acquired with the infrared camera and the infrared spectrograph on board the AKARI and Spitzer space telescopes, res…
The robust detection and spatial distribution of acetaldehyde in Orion KL: ALMA observations and chemical modeling
Miwha Jin, Anthony J. Remijan, Robin T. Garrod +5
Despite the organic molecule inventory detected in Orion KL, acetaldehyde (CH3CHO) -- one of the most ubiquitous interstellar aldehydes -- has not been firmly identified with mm-wa…
