Superactivation and Incompressibility of Genuine Multipartite Entanglement
Lisa T. Weinbrenner, Klára Baksová, Sophia Denker +4
Quantum correlations in the form of entanglement, quantum steering or Bell nonlocality are resources for various information-processing tasks, but their detailed quantification and…
Knowledge-dependent optimal Gaussian strategies for phase estimation
Ricard Ravell Rodríguez, Simon Morelli
When estimating an unknown phase rotation of a continuous-variable system with homodyne detection, the optimal probe state strongly depends on the value of the estimated parameter.…
Exploring Imaginary Coordinates: Disparity in the Shape of Quantum State Space in Even and Odd Dimensions
Simon Morelli, Santiago Llorens, Jens Siewert
The state of a finite-dimensional quantum system is described by a density matrix that can be decomposed into a real diagonal, a real off-diagonal and and an imaginary off-diagonal…
Enhanced Schmidt number criteria based on correlation trace norms
Armin Tavakoli, Simon Morelli
The Schmidt number represents the genuine entanglement dimension of a bipartite quantum state. We derive simple criteria for the Schmidt number of a density matrix in arbitrary loc…
