Momentum-Space Planar Optics for Long-Range Spin Hamiltonians
Huaqiang Li, Junxu Liu, Guangfeng Wang +3
Evaluating spin Hamiltonians with dense, long-range interactions requires repeated global summation over many pairwise couplings, making energy evaluation costly on conventional el…
Meta-cavity Quantum Electrodynamics
Xueshi Li, Ziwei Wang, Yan Chen +13
Cavity quantum electrodynamics (cQED) harnesses light-matter interactions to produce nonclassical light states. However, a fundamental challenge lies in simultaneously achieving Pu…
Optical Quasi-symmetry Groups for Meron Lattices
Guangfeng Wang, Juan Feng, Tong Zheng +3
We introduce quasi-symmetry groups in optics emerging from the commutation between mirror operation and the spin-orbit interaction (SOI) of light. Contrary to the principle of symm…
Erdos-Turan photonic Ising machines with record-high coupling resolution
Huaqiang Li, Guangfeng Wang, Erez Hasman +2
Ising machines have emerged as promising platforms for efficiently tackling a wide range of combinatorial optimization problems relevant to resource allocation, statistical inferen…
Nearfield Vortex Dynamics of Supercell Bloch Modes
Xiaona Ye, Guangfeng Wang, Xiaoyang Duan +7
Densely arranged optical vortices are natural solutions of high-symmetry Bloch modes in photonic crystals. However, strict symmetry constraints limit the potential spatial configur…
