Topological Dirac-vortex modes in a three-dimensional photonic topological insulator
Bei Yan, Yingfeng Qi, Ziyao Wang +8
Recently, topological Dirac-vortex modes in Kekulé-distorted photonic lattices have attracted broad interest and exhibited promising applications in robust photonic devices such as…
Realization of Topology-controlled Photonic Cavities in a Valley Photonic Crystal
Bei Yan, Baoliang Liao, Fulong Shi +11
We report an experimental realization of a new type of topology-controlled photonic cavities in valley photonic crystals by adopting judiciously oriented mirrors to localize the va…
Realization of a three-dimensional photonic higher-order topological insulator
Ziyao Wang, Yan Meng, Bei Yan +13
The discovery of photonic higher-order topological insulators (HOTIs) has significantly expanded our understanding of band topology and provided unprecedented lower-dimensional top…
Acoustic Three-dimensional Chern Insulators with Arbitrary Chern Vectors
Yang Linyun, Xi Xiang, Meng Yan +13
The Chern vector is a vectorial generalization of the scalar Chern number, being able to characterize the topological phase of three-dimensional (3D) Chern insulators. Such a vecto…
