Clock spacing for two-sided Jacobi matrices
Benjamin Eichinger, Milivoje Lukić, Giorgio Young
We study local eigenvalue spacing for finite truncations of a two-sided Jacobi matrix with two movable endpoints. In particular, we show that a suitable analog of clock spacing fol…
Wave operators for Jacobi matrices
Sergey A. Denisov, Giorgio Young
We study the wave operators for a Jacobi matrix whose spectral measure satisfies the Szegö condition. We prove existence and completeness of wave operators under a mild additional…
Directional Ballistic Transport in Quantum Waveguides
Adam Black, David Damanik, Peter Kuchment +2
We study the transport properties of Schrödinger operators on with potentials that are periodic in some directions and compactly supported in the others. Such system…
Optimal dispersion for discrete periodic Schrödinger operators
David Damanik, Jake Fillman, Giorgio Young
We prove a dispersive estimate for periodic discrete Schrödinger operators on the line with optimal rate of decay. Additionally, by standard methods, we deduce dispersive estimates…
Directional Ballistic Transport for Partially Periodic Schrödinger Operators on
Adam Black, David Damanik, Tal Malinovitch +1
We study the transport properties of Schrödinger operators on with potentials that are periodic in one direction and compactly supported in the other. Such systems a…
