A Lightweight Model-Driven 4D Radar Framework for Pervasive Human Detection in Harsh Conditions
Zhenan Liu, Amir Khajepour, George Shaker
Pervasive sensing in industrial and underground environments is severely constrained by airborne dust, smoke, confined geometry, and metallic structures, which rapidly degrade opti…
Real-Time 4D Radar Perception for Robust Human Detection in Harsh Enclosed Environments
Zhenan Liu, Yaodong Cui, Amir Khajepour +1
This paper introduces a novel methodology for generating controlled, multi-level dust concentrations in a highly cluttered environment representative of harsh, enclosed environment…
CRADMap: Applied Distributed Volumetric Mapping with 5G-Connected Multi-Robots and 4D Radar Perception
Maaz Qureshi, Alexander Werner, Zhenan Liu +3
Sparse and feature SLAM methods provide robust camera pose estimation. However, they often fail to capture the level of detail required for inspection and scene awareness tasks. Co…
Enhancing Indoor Mobility with Connected Sensor Nodes: A Real-Time, Delay-Aware Cooperative Perception Approach
Minghao Ning, Yaodong Cui, Yufeng Yang +5
This paper presents a novel real-time, delay-aware cooperative perception system designed for intelligent mobility platforms operating in dynamic indoor environments. The system co…
