Improving the efficiency of QAOA using efficient parameter transfer initialization and targeted-single-layer regularized optimization with minimal performance degradation
Shubham Patel, Utkarsh Mishra
Quantum approximate optimization algorithm (QAOA) have promising applications in combinatorial optimization problems (COPs). We investigated the MaxCut problem in three different f…
Beating the standard quantum limit with single-photon-added coherent states
Pankaj K. Jha, Lakshya Nagpal, Amir Targholizadeh +2
The standard quantum limit (SQL), also known as the shot-noise limit, defines how quantum fluctuations of light constrain measurement precision. In a benchmark experiment using the…
ClassiFIM: An Unsupervised Method To Detect Phase Transitions
Victor Kasatkin, Evgeny Mozgunov, Nicholas Ezzell +3
Estimation of the Fisher Information Metric (FIM-estimation) is an important task that arises in unsupervised learning of phase transitions, a problem proposed by physicists. This…
Review: Quantum Metrology and Sensing with Many-Body Systems
Victor Montenegro, Chiranjib Mukhopadhyay, Rozhin Yousefjani +4
The main power of quantum sensors is achieved when the probe is composed of several particles. In this situation, quantum features such as entanglement contribute to enhancing the…
