GRB 241030A: a bright afterglow challenging forward shock emission
J. -G. Ducoin, C. Pellouin, V. Aivazyan +97
Gamma-Ray Burst GRB 241030A (z = 1.411) exhibited a bright afterglow (similar to GRB 221009A), detected across gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, and optical bands, providing a probe of GRB aft…
Multi-wavelength Study of A Superflare on RS CVn-type Star HD22468 Triggered at Hard X-ray by SVOM
J. Wang, W. J. Xie, F. Cangemi +36
Detection of stellar flares at hard X-ray is still rare at the current stage. A transient was recently detected by the hard X-ray camera, ECLAIRs onboard the SVOM mission at 11:39:…
SVOM GRB 250314A at z 7.3: an exploding star in the era of reionization
B. Cordier, J. Y. Wei, N. R. Tanvir +103
Most long Gamma-ray bursts originate from a rare type of massive stellar explosion. Their afterglows, while rapidly fading, can be initially extremely luminous at optical/near-infr…
Einstein Probe discovery of EP J005245.1-722843: a rare BeWD binary in the Small Magellanic Cloud?
A. Marino, H. Yang, F. Coti Zelati +32
On May 27 2024, the Wide-field X-ray Telescope onboard the Einstein Probe (EP) mission detected enhanced X-ray emission from a new transient source in the Small Magellanic Cloud (S…
