A Tidal Disruption Event from an Intermediate-mass Black Hole Revealed by Comprehensive Multi-wavelength Observations
Jialai Wang, Mengqiu Huang, Yongquan Xue +12
Tidal disruption events (TDEs) occur when a star crosses the tidal radius of a black hole (BH) and is ripped apart, providing a powerful way to probe dormant BHs over a wide mass r…
The Drivers of the Decline in Supermassive Black Hole Growth at
Zhibo Yu, W. N. Brandt, Fan Zou +4
It is well established that cosmic supermassive black hole (SMBH) growth peaks at , followed by a strong decline of toward the present day, w…
The Faintest, Extremely Variable X-ray Tidal Disruption Event from a Supermassive Black Hole Binary?
Mengqiu Huang, Yongquan Xue, Shuo Li +30
Tidal disruption events (TDEs), which occur when stars enter the tidal radii of supermassive black holes (SMBHs) and are subsequently torn apart by their tidal forces, represent in…
The Advanced X-ray Imaging Satellite (AXIS) Community Science Book
Michael Koss, Nafisa Aftab, Steven W. Allen +395
The AXIS Community Science Book represents the collective effort of 592 scientists worldwide to define the transformative science enabled by the Advanced X-ray Imaging Satellite (A…
