Lyman Alpha Emitters at Redshift 5.7 in the COSMOS Field
T. Murayama, Y. Taniguchi, N. Z. Scoville +24
We present results from a narrow-band optical survey of a contiguous area of 1.95 deg^2, covered by the Cosmic Evolution Survey (COSMOS). Both optical narrow-band (lambda_c = 8150…
On the Origin of Lyman- Blobs at High Redshift: Kinematic Evidence for a Hyperwind Galaxy at z = 3.1
Y. Ohyama, Y. Taniguchi, K. S. Kawabata +6
We present deep optical spectroscopy of an extended Ly emission-line blob located in an over-dense region at redshift ; `blob 1' of Steidel et al. (2000). The ori…
The Discovery of Two Lyman Emitters Beyond Redshift 6 in the Subaru Deep Field
K. Kodaira, Y. Taniguchi, N. Kashikawa +3
We have performed a deep optical imaging survey using a narrowband filter () centered at 9196 Å~ together with and broadband filters covering an 8…
The Discovery of a Very Narrow-Line Star Forming Obat a Redshift of 5.66ject
Y. Taniguchi, M. Ajiki, T. Murayama +13
We report on the discovery of a very narrow-line star forming object beyond redshift of 5. Using the prime-focus camera, Suprime-Cam, on the 8.2 m Subaru telescope together with a…
