MIDIS: Unveiling the Star Formation History in massive galaxies at with spectro-photometric analysis
M. Annunziatella, P. G. Pérez-González, J. Álvarez-Márquez +23
We investigate the star formation histories (SFHs) of a sample of massive galaxies () in the redshift range . We analyze spectro-photo…
JWST/MIRI observations of the young TWA 27 system: hydrocarbon disk chemistry, silicate clouds, evidence for a CPD
P. Patapis, M. Morales-Calderón, A. M. Arabhavi +39
The Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) on the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) enables the characterisation of young self-luminous gas giants at previously inaccessible wavelengths, r…
JWST Observations of Young protoStars (JOYS): overview of program and early results
E. F. van Dishoeck, Ł. Tychoniec, W. R. M. Rocha +34
The embedded phase is a crucial period in the development of a young star. Mid-IR observations, now possible with JWST with unprecedented sensitivity, spectral resolution and sharp…
MICONIC: JWST/MIRI MRS reveals a fast ionized gas outflow in the central region of Centaurus A
A. Alonso-Herrero, L. Hermosa Muñoz, A. Labiano +20
We present a kinematical study of the ionized and molecular gas in the central region (~7-14"~100-200pc) of the nearby radio galaxy Cen A. We used JWST/MIRI MRS 5-28m observatio…
