Flag at origin: a modular fault-tolerant preparation for CSS codes
Diego Forlivesi, David Amaro
Fault-tolerant (FT) preparation of diverse logical stabilizer states in quantum error-correcting (QEC) codes is essential for FT computation. Existing constructions of these FT cir…
Breaking even with magic: demonstration of a high-fidelity logical non-Clifford gate
Shival Dasu, Simon Burton, Karl Mayer +7
Encoding quantum information to protect it from errors is essential for performing large-scale quantum computations. Performing a universal set of quantum gates on encoded states d…
Quantum Error-Corrected Computation of Molecular Energies
Kentaro Yamamoto, Yuta Kikuchi, David Amaro +18
We present the first demonstration of an end-to-end pipeline with quantum error correction (QEC) for a quantum computation of the electronic structure of molecular systems. We calc…
Iceberg Beyond the Tip: Co-Compilation of a Quantum Error Detection Code and a Quantum Algorithm
Yuwei Jin, Zichang He, Tianyi Hao +5
The rapid progress in quantum hardware is expected to make them viable tools for the study of quantum algorithms in the near term. The timeline to useful algorithmic experimentatio…
