Scaling vs entanglement in measurement-induced phase transition for non-integrable systems
Paranjoy Chaki, Protyush Nandi, Subinay Dasgupta +1
We find that the measurement-induced phase transition generated by deterministic global measurements, previously observed in the integrable transverse-field Ising model (TFIM), per…
Surpassing thermal-state limit in thermometry via non-completely positive quantum encoding
Anindita Sarkar, Paranjoy Chaki, Debarupa Saha +1
Conventional quantum thermometry assumes completely positive (CP) encoding maps, where the probe is initially uncorrelated with the environment. We consider realistic scenarios wit…
Entanglement concentration via measurement:- role of imaginarity
Indranil Biswas, Subrata Bera, Ujjwal Sen +2
The role of complex numbers in quantum theory extends beyond mathematical convenience, having recently been formalized as a resource under the framework of the resource theory of i…
Dynamical Quantum Phase Transitions in Boundary Time Crystals
Sukrut Mondkar, Priya Ghosh, Ujjwal Sen
We demonstrate the existence of a dynamical quantum phase transition (DQPT) in a dissipative collective-spin model that exhibits the boundary time crystal (BTC) phase. We initializ…
