Diffusion of muonic hydrogen in hydrogen gas and the measurement of the 1 hyperfine splitting of muonic hydrogen
J. Nuber, A. Adamczak, M. Abdou Ahmed +46
The CREMA collaboration is pursuing a measurement of the ground-state hyperfine splitting (HFS) in muonic hydrogen (p) with 1 ppm accuracy by means of pulsed laser spectroscopy.…
Laser excitation of the 1s-hyperfine transition in muonic hydrogen
P. Amaro, A. Adamczak, M. Abdou Ahmed +43
The CREMA collaboration is pursuing a measurement of the ground-state hyperfine splitting (HFS) in muonic hydrogen (p) with 1 ppm accuracy by means of pulsed laser spectroscopy…
The next generation of laser spectroscopy experiments using light muonic atoms
S. Schmidt, M. Willig, J. Haack +41
Precision spectroscopy of light muonic atoms provides unique information about the atomic and nuclear structure of these systems and thus represents a way to access fundamental int…
The proton radius puzzle
J. J. Krauth, K. Schuhmann, M. Abdou Ahmed +49
High-precision measurements of the proton radius from laser spectroscopy of muonic hydrogen demonstrated up to six standard deviations smaller values than obtained from electron-pr…
