Trace-defect bounds for discrete Fourier concentration operators
Azita Mayeli
Let be finite and let be measurable. We study the discrete Fourier concentration operator \[ T_{Ω,S}=P_ΩB_SP_Ω, \] which describes simul…
Dynamical phase retrieval for Schr{ö}dinger evolution on finite graphs
Philippe Jaming, Azita Mayeli
We study dynamical phase retrieval for Schr\''odinger evolutions on finite connected graphs. Let \[ H\_Q=Δ\_G+Q \] be a graph Schr\''odinger operator with a real diagonal potential…
Trace bounds for limiting operators on rough domains
Kevin Hughes, Arie Israel, Azita Mayeli
This work concerns a quantitative form of Landau's eigenvalue theorem for spatio-spectral limiting operators. We isolate a simple mechanism that converts the problem of estimating…
Spectral synthesis on Riemannian manifolds
A. Iosevich, A. Mayeli, E. Wyman
We study spectral synthesis for measures supported on thin subsets of compact Riemannian manifolds. We prove that under natural non-concentration conditions, such measures admit qu…
Wave packet systems and connections to spectral analysis of limiting operators
Kevin Hughes, Arie Israel, Azita Mayeli
We discuss the design of ``wave packet systems'' that admit strong concentration properties in phase space. We make a connection between this problem and topics in signal processin…
