JOYS+ analyses of OCN, NO, NO, and complex cyanides in ices -- Thermal processing results in modest enhancement of OCN ice
P. Nazari, N. Brunken, Y. Chen +12
Nitrogen-bearing molecules are more difficult to observe than oxygen-bearing ones, mainly due to the lower abundance of nitrogen in the interstellar medium. Therefore, the formatio…
Diverse stages of star formation in the IRAS 18162-2048 region. Emergence of UV Feedback
R. Fedriani, G. Anglada, A. Caratti o Garatti +15
Methods: We obtained adaptive optics-assisted integral field spectroscopy in the near-infrared (IR) band () with VLT/SINFONI, complemented by VLA X and C…
JWST Observations of Young protoStars (JOYS): overview of program and early results
E. F. van Dishoeck, Ł. Tychoniec, W. R. M. Rocha +34
The embedded phase is a crucial period in the development of a young star. Mid-IR observations, now possible with JWST with unprecedented sensitivity, spectral resolution and sharp…
JOYS: The [D/H] abundance derived from protostellar outflows across the Galactic disk measured with JWST
L. Francis, E. F. van Dishoeck, A. Caratti o Garatti +8
The total deuterium abundance [D/H] in the universe is set by just two processes: the creation of deuterium in Big Bang Nucleosynthesis at an abundance of [D/H]$=2.58\pm0.13\times1…
