Excitation Spectra of the Reaction near the -Meson Emission Threshold Measured in Coincidence with High-Momentum Protons
R. Sekiya, K. Itahashi, Y. K. Tanaka +74
The missing mass of the reaction has been measured near the -meson emission threshold in coincidence with a high-momentum proton to selectively collect $η…
Performance of newly constructed plastic scintillator barrel in the WASA-FRS experiments and evaluation of radiation damage effects on multi-pixel photon counter
Y. K. Tanaka, R. Sekiya, K. Itahashi +70
A barrel-shaped plastic scintillation counter with Multi-Pixel Photon Counter (MPPC) readout has been developed and operated in the first WASA-FRS experimental campaign at GSI. The…
Stepping into the Sea of Instability: The New Sub-us Superheavy Nucleus 252Rf
J. Khuyagbaatar, P. Mosat, J. Ballof +14
We report the discovery of the new isotope Rf. With its extremely short half-life of ~ns, it expands the range of half-lives of the known superheavy nuclei…
First investigation on the isomeric ratio in multinucleon transfer reactions: Entrance channel effects on the spin distribution
D. Kumar, T. Dickel, A. Zadvornaya +39
The multinucleon transfer (MNT) reaction approach was successfully employed for the first time to measure the isomeric ratios (IRs) of Po (25/2) isomer and its (9/2…
