A high-stability optical clock based on a continuously ground-state cooled Al ion without compromising its accuracy
Fabian Dawel, Lennart Pelzer, Kai Dietze +12
Single ion optical clocks have shown systematic frequency uncertainties below , but typically require more than one week of averaging to achieve a corresponding statistic…
Transportable strontium lattice clock with blackbody radiation shift uncertainty
I. Nosske, C. Vishwakarma, T. Lücke +6
We describe a transportable optical lattice clock based on the transition of lattice-trapped Sr atoms with a total systematic u…
Entanglement-enhanced optical ion clock
Kai Dietze, Lennart Pelzer, Ludwig Krinner +11
Entangled states hold the promise of improving the precision and accuracy of quantum sensors. We experimentally demonstrate that spectroscopy of an optical clock transition using e…
High-accuracy multi-ion spectroscopy with mixed-species Coulomb crystals
J. Keller, H. N. Hausser, I. M. Richter +14
Multi-ion optical clocks offer the possibility of overcoming the low signal-to-noise ratio of single-ion clocks, while still providing low systematic uncertainties. We present simu…
