Chiral Quantum Optics with Scalable Quantum Dot Dimers
L. Hallacy, D. Hallett, A. Fenzl +8
We present a scalable method for electrically tuning multiple spatially separated quantum dots embedded in photonic crystal waveguides. Ion implantation into the top p-doped layer…
All-optical nonlinear phase modulation in open semiconductor microcavities
Fedor A. Benimetskiy, Paul M. Walker, Anthony Ellul +8
We report a significant advancement in ultra low power light-by-light phase modulation using open semiconductor microcavities in the strong light-matter coupling regime. We achieve…
Electro-mechanically tunable, waveguide-coupled photonic-crystal cavities with embedded quantum dots
Luke A. F. Brunswick, Luke Hallacy, René Dost +3
On-chip micro-cavities with embedded quantum emitters provide an excellent platform for high-performance quantum technologies. A major difficulty for such devices is overcoming the…
Purcell-Enhanced, Directional Light-Matter Interaction in a Waveguide-Coupled Nanocavity
Nicholas J. Martin, Dominic Hallett, Mateusz Duda +9
We demonstrate electrically tunable, spin-dependent, directional coupling of single photons by embedding quantum dots (QDs) in a waveguide-coupled nanocavity. The directional behav…
