Optimal management of the vaccination process in SIRD epidemic models under constraints
Bogdan Norkin, Vladimir Norkin
The paper considers the problems of optimal vaccination control in the classical SIR model under constraints on the resource capabilities of the insurance medical system, in partic…
Models Parametric Analysis via Adaptive Kernel Learning
Vladimir Norkin, Alois Pichler
Any applied mathematical model contains parameters. The paper proposes to use kernel learning for the parametric analysis of the model. The approach consists in setting a distribut…
Lossy Image Compression with Stochastic Quantization
Anton Kozyriev, Vladimir Norkin
Lossy image compression algorithms play a crucial role in various domains, including graphics, and image processing. As image information density increases, so do the resources req…
The Exact Projective Penalty Method for Constrained Optimization
Vladimir Norkin
A new exact projective penalty method is proposed for the equivalent reduction of constrained optimization problems to nonsmooth unconstrained ones. In the method, the original obj…
On Shor's r-Algorithm for Problems with Constraints
Vladimir Norkin, Anton Kozyriev
Shor's r-algorithm (Shor, Zhurbenko (1971), Shor (1979)) with space stretching in the direction of difference of two adjacent subgradients is a competitive method of nonsmooth opti…
