Steven Rodan, Christoph Tönnis, Jiwoong Lee +1
The IceCube Upgrade consists of seven new strings to be deployed in the central region of the existing IceCube detector. The goals of the IceCube Upgrade are two-fold: to enhance s…
A new simulation framework for IceCube Upgrade calibration using IceCube Upgrade Camera system
Christoph Tönnis, Seowon Choi, Carsten Rott +2
Currently, an upgrade consisting of seven densely instrumented strings in the center of the volume of the IceCube detector with new digital optical modules (DOMs) is being built. O…
Enhanced Starting Track Real-time Stream for IceCube
Jesse Osborn, Sarah Mancina, Manuel Silva
IceCube real-time alerts allow for rapid follow-up observations of likely astrophysical neutrino events, enabling searches for multi-messenger counterparts. The Enhanced Starting T…
Detailed investigations of PMTs in optical sensors for neutrino telescopes such as IceCube Upgrade
Berit Schlüter, Willem Achtermann, Martin Antonio Unland Elorrieta
Photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) are a central component of neutrino telescopes such as IceCube and KM3NeT, and an accurate understanding and measurement of their properties is indispe…
