Astroclimes -- measuring the abundance of CO and CH in the Earth's atmosphere using astronomical observations
Marcelo Aron Fetzner Keniger, David Armstrong, Matteo Brogi +2
Monitoring the abundance of greenhouse gases (GHGs) such as carbon dioxide (CO) and methane (CH) is necessary to quantify their impact on global warming and climate change.…
A high stellar multiplicity rate amongst TESS planet candidates in the Neptunian desert using Gaia DR3 astrometry
Fintan Eeles-Nolle, David J. Armstrong
We aim to discover whether the stellar multiplicity rate may provide information on the origin of recently discovered planets in the Neptunian Desert. Using Gaia DR3 astrometry, we…
The TOI-1117 Multi-planetary System: 3 sub-Neptunes, 1 in both the Neptunian Desert and Radius Valley
Isobel S. Lockley, David J. Armstrong, Jorge Fernández Fernández +33
We present the discovery of three sub-Neptune planets around TOI-1117, a Sun-like star with mass , radius , age Gyr and ef…
The NCORES Program: Precise planetary masses, null results, and insight into the planet mass distribution near the radius gap
David J. Armstrong, Ares Osborn, Remo Burn +39
NCORES was a large observing program on the ESO HARPS spectrograph, dedicated to measuring the masses of Neptune-like and smaller transiting planets discovered by the TESS satellit…
